Open Season is coming up at the Fowlerville Agricultural Society’s Livingston Centre Historical Village! The Fowlerville Area Historical Society is recruiting volunteers to help get the buildings, their gardens, and the surrounding grounds ready for all to enjoy during Open Season events (May through October). Volunteer tasks can be gardening (cleaning out beds, planting, creating new beds with edging, and spreading mulch), painting, repairing stairs or railings, cleaning and dusting inside the buildings, and maybe even staging them! Be sure to bring your work gloves, a mask if you are sensitive to dust or outdoor allergens, and other protective work clothing as needed. More details to come!
